I like how even though Mr. P got punched by Junior and he still has hope for him and wants what's best for him. Junior actually taking his advice is what surprised me the most. The fact that he would leave the rez for schooling even though he knew how everyone would treat him after that point. I was in a way kind of proud of Junior for making such a big decision to leave the rez and actually do something with his life.
